The School of Jewish Studies offers two Graduate Certificate programs. Full details can be found in the SJS Catalog.

Graduate Certificate in Messianic Jewish Studies This five-course certificate is designed for students who want to get a substantial overview of Messianic Jewish studies. No Hebrew is required. Should the student wish to continue studies after obtaining this certificate, all courses will count toward the MJS degree.

  • T501 - The Shape of Messianic Jewish Theology
  • S502 - Apostolic Writings: The Early Messianic Jewish Community
  • SL501 - Messianic Jewish Spirituality
  • SL502 - Jewish Practices in Messianic Context
  • One General Elective

Graduate Certificate in Messianic Jewish Writings This five-course certificate is designed for students who want to focus on text-based Messianic Jewish study. Biblical Hebrew is a prerequisite for all but the Apostolic Writings course. Should the student wish to continue studies after obtaining this certificate, all courses will count toward the MJS degree.
